Heart of Kayamandi was born from the FoodPods franchise started by Heart Capital, and is now a growing agricultural hub that helps small-scale entrepreneurs make a livelihood from the sale of fresh, organic vegetables in the community.
In addition, they supply local daycare centres with fresh vegetables as part of the “No Hungry Tummies” initiative.
Heart of Kayamandi does not take donations, but is supported by the proceeds of their vegetables. They also offer township lunch experiences that include a guided tour of the agricultural hub, with all proceeds funding the programmes.
