Description
Bongo Flepu is a 26-year-old performing poet, father, writer and founder member of the Jembe Ridim Poetry group based in Kayamandi. His talents stretch as far as the fine arts, including drawing and painting – talents he has fostered since a young age. This passion was started in junior high through telling stories and sharing dreams and visions. For Bongo, it is more than just a talent; it is a calling, his occupation.
