An honest, hardworking individual, Colin de Wet got his start working as a wine tasting room assistant on a number of South Africa’s award-winning wine farms. His resultant contact with tourists both foreign and domestic inspired Colin to start his own private tour operating business, Winelands Guide, in 2016. Offering a wide variety of personalised tours for individuals and groups of up to 23 people, Colin’s passion for South Africa’s wine and tourism industries is unmatched!
He has been working in the wine and tourism industries for over a decade now, and has obtained his Wine Certificate through the Cape Wine Academy, as well as completed tourism and tour guide management courses in 2009 and, in an effort to keep up with the times, again in 2017.
