Rachel Daars was born in 1951 in Morreesburg and spent her young life growing up on a farm. For the past 20 years she has lived on Dwars-in-die-weg Farm in Devon Valley, Stellenbosch. She is a warm, fun-loving person with a talent for needlework and dabbles with the paintbrush. Her dream is to have her own business selling her homemade clothes, duvet sets and scatter cushions.
