Description

Samuel, originally from Mozambique but now a South African citizen, runs a furniture upholstery and repair shop in Kayamandi. As a boy, he learned to weave grass baskets in Mozambique, and later on learned the craft of upholstery at a factory in Gauteng. Samuel hopes to one day have enough space to make and sell his own furniture, but in the meantime his upholstery and repairs business is doing well and is supported by his brother and uncle, who are also learning the craft of upholstery.
