Ashley Mentoor is a horticulturist and runs a successful nursery in Pniel. His establishment is part of the government job-creation programme. His love for plants and flowers has inspired him to succeed in this challenging industry.

The Graffiti that can be seen in and around Pniel are not the norm. Instead of crude remarks and negative images, most will be surprised to find intricate beautiful images with a positive message.

Although the older buildings of Pniel have been build in Cape Dutch Style, the modern structures lack any specific style. Important beautiful buildings such as the Church is well looked after, and adds to the splendor of this quaint town.

This vibrant playschool is equipped with skillful friendly staff. They make sure the youngsters basic art skills are developed before going on to primary school.
